@MrPeace2mind, you say that but nobody is even giving him a chance. He’s only been in office for 1 year. Change doesn’t happen over night. Bush had 8 years to mess up everything and everyone expects Obama to clean it up in 1 year! And now everyone blaming Obama like it was his fault we where in the place we’re in.

look Obama will be in office for 1 year tomorrow. Bush messed up everything and you expect him to fix his mistakes in a year. Give the guy some time! If you crash your car you can’t get it fixed in the same day so just chill people.

Bush has also spent a greater PERCENTAGE of his time in office on vacation. At the current pace, if Obama is reelected, he won’t be anywhere near Bush’s numbers even after a full 8 years.
Also, while calling my intelligence into question, you spelled “tsk” incorrectly, and used the possessive form “your” instead of “you’re” (you are). Nice try though.

For all you Obama loving hippocrytes the vacations that Bush took at Crawford were more than just relaxation. He held meetings, met with foregin dignitaries, and held press conferances. In fact Bush was contining the tradition of the Western White House started by FDR when he stayed in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel during WWII.

bush started his presidency with a vacation and has taken more vacation days than any president in history. ever. this includes him staying on vacation (not coming back early) when katrina hit and he was told americans were dying. btw, look it up, obama has actually been working during his “vacation.”

an inappropriate remark like “an isolated extremist” and then a day later whoops “It appears that he joined an affiliate of al-Qaida, and that this group – al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula – trained him, equipped him with those explosives and directed him to attack that plane headed for America” and he blamed the CIA. shame, shame. Obama’s Political Correctness agenda comes first, obviously since since he also said “Let’s not jump to conclusions” about the Fort Hood terrorist as well.

Tell me, how long of a period have you worked seven days a week, almost nonstop? And when you finally get a vacation, you have to interrupt it multiple times a day to keep working?
I’d much rather he keep vacationing, if only for his continued sanity. God knows I wouldn’t be able to keep my mind straight after all the work a president has to do.

The bellowing by Republicans over the Obama administration’s supposedly lackadaisical response to the attempted bombing of an airliner over Detroit seems as much about political posturing as legitimate national security concerns.
How else to explain the GOP’s relatively quiet reaction eight years ago to President George W. Bush’s detached response after a similarly-botched terrorist attack?
