Nokia phone versus golf club

We’ve got early access to a prototype of a tough new Nokia phone. So we thought we’d put it through some rigorous and very unscientific tests to see how rugged it actually is, and whacked it with a 9 iron. PLEASE NOTE – DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLICATE ANY OF THE SCENARIOS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO. THE SCENARIOS SHOWN IN THESE VIDEOS ARE EXTREME AND WHILST THE RESULTS SHOWN ARE GENUINE, THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH ANY PUBLISHED PHONE SPECIFICATION.

The screen didnt break (which even surprised us!). What you can see on the screen are rain drops – we shot this video straight after the rugby boot test we did when it was a torrential downpour – watch that one and you’ll see how crazy the rain was!

We didnt want to whack it with a driver at full strength, as I doubt anything (even a brick) could survive that. But we did give it a fair old whack with a 9 iron – more of an approach shot than a fairway smash
